The Andy Krikun Band features a stellar group of East Coast musicians and educators including Peter Furlan (saxophone), Vinnie Cutro (trumpet), Gareth Dylan Smith (drums), Jeff Doctorow (guitar), and Rod Shepard (bass). The band has performed at numerous venues in the New York metropolitan area including Debonair Music Hall (Teaneck, NJ), Sullivan Hall (NYC), Make Music Englewood (Englewood, NJ), Overpeck County Park (Ridgefield Park, NJ).

Andy Krikun is a singer-songwriter and the founder of the Los Angeles New Wave band Andy and the Rattlesnakes.  For the past twenty years, Andy has been a music professor at Bergen Community College teaching songwriting, world music, and directing the Pop/Rock Ensemble. He holds a Masters in Ethnomusicology from UCLA and a PhD in Music Education from NYU. His research has been published in academic journals and book chapters, and he has presented at conferences in the U.S., Great Britain, Canada, and China.

Drummer Gareth Dylan Smith cut his teeth in the ‘90s UK indie rock music circuits in Brighton and Cardiff before moving to London to seek fame and fortune. Finding neither, he earned a PhD and moved to East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania where he works for Boston University, researching drummers and punk pedagogies. 

During the past 40 years, trumpeter, composer, and music educator Vinnie Cutro has performed with
noted great musicians such as Horace Silver, BuddyRich , Lionel Hampton , Ron Carter, Ray Charles, Blood Sweat & Tears, Aretha Franklin ,Machito and TheVanguard Orchestra .
